Whether you’re a current parent wanting to know some details about next year, a new parent thinking about working with us or just curious about how everything works behind the scenes at BA English Tuition, this one’s for you.

🏡 The Essentials: How, Where and What?
Where do tutoring sessions take place?
From September 2025 nearly all sessions will take place in one of our two resourced home learning spaces. They’re comfortable, distraction-free, and set-up for focused study.
If you're online, great news: we’re looking to move over to the Lesson Space platform that offers a more interactive and streamlined learning experience. Onboarding information will follow later in the summer for our online cohort.
Do you offer any subjects other than English?
From September, we’ll be introducing Maths tuition with a carefully selected tutor that we hope to partner with. It’s exciting stuff; so if you’d like to register your interest early, just drop us an email at info@ba-english-tuition.com.

What ages and levels do you support?
We teach:

We tailor everything to every school’s exam board as well as to each tutee's personal areas for development.
Who will be my English tutor?
You’ll be matched with either Bradley or Jemma for the academic year. That consistency is key, but we’re flexible enough to step in and cover for one another when needed.
What are your qualifications and experience?
We are both qualified, senior teachers with English and leadership experience in secondary schools. We’ve spent years working directly with exam boards and teaching hundreds of students. We know how to get results! You can read our respective journeys through education HERE.
💡 Homework, Feedback and Support Between Sessions
Do you provide parental feedback?
Yes! A short verbal debrief at the end of each session is our norm and written summaries can be provided on request. We also help guide you with questions to ask your child's school/English teacher where necessary, bridging the gap between tuition and classroom learning.
Can you help with school homework?
Definitely. We can support with school-set tasks and teach you how to break them down and manage them independently, within a tuition session. Please just let us know of the task that your child would like support with in advance.
Do you help with revision planning?
Absolutely. We’re big believers in well-paced, evidence-based revision. We’ll build practical plans that can be easily stuck to.

What is your monthly subscription service?
For just £12.99/month (for those enrolled with us for 2025/26) you’ll receive:

Tailored monthly resources via an online portal.

Homework via this portal with Microsoft PowerPoint support slides.

Marking of assessment/mock exam questions which is completed by us outside of your session time. This leaves session time for working on the development area(s) identified.

Additional revision advice straight to your inbox.
Do you offer webinars and additional group sessions if requested?
Yes. We host webinars like and run school holiday small-group sessions too (as well as the usual weekly group sessions that we offer). These offer great value and high impact. You can see what we are currently offering HERE.
